Every time I come here I am reminded of why I will be back! The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. They are always willing to have a conversation about what is most important for your car in the moment especially if you are trying to stay on a budget. I always feel valued and seen at Tuffy which can be hard to find sometimes as a woman in car shops!! I always suggest them.

About a year and a half ago at a different establishment as I was getting work done, I was told I needed brakes soon. Yesterday I NEEDED those brakes. So I got to this shop only expecting to get a price quote and figuring out the rest of it soon enough. But after I turned their faces pale with my grinding brakes and my best "Tehe, oopsies", they got right to work asking how quick they needed to work to get my car back in safe driving condition. They were even able to help me out with a loaner car so I could get to work in the morning. I had my own car back within 24 hours of dropping it off! AND they gave me a detailed list of things that might need attention soon.

I have had several major issues with my car in the last 1.5 year. I was visiting before moving and my car had a major breakdown. Tuffy rearranged their work schedule to keep me safe on the road and back in my car. Recently, The did excellent body work on my car and replaced a starter. They always prioritize the customer experience and make sure they are transparent about their diagnostic testing before doing any work. Alec at the front desk has stayed late to make sure that I could get my car on the same day of service. I can't speak to the personality of the mechanics; but their service is top notch. If you are ever in a pinch, Tuffy is the place to go. As a nice plus, the pizza shop next door is a great place to grab a bite when you are having quick routine service. Reasonable prices for the quick turn around on repairs and transparency. There might be a cheaper option around, but you get what you pay.

Recommended to Tuffy's by a friend to get a second opinion. They ended up finding a big problem. Alec broke the news as gently as he could. It wasn't worth it to get fixed but I ended up getting an oil change. The oil change was fast. The whole environment was welcoming. I especially loved the Price is Right playing on the TV. The couches were also comfortable. Alec and Russ were both very easy to talk to. I will use Tuffys for oil changes from now on.
